11/01/25: Asylum had the honor of performing a short set at drummer Paul Monteiro's wedding. A remarkable day! Congrats Paul and Holly!!
07/19/25: Asylum in a rare performance played a short set to honor a close member of the Asylum family Jeff Boynton, who had passed away earlier in the year.
January 2025: Asylum rehearsal. Sounding good :)
12/19/24: Worldwide (Album) Release of Asylum LP “Asylum ‘88 ’23 demos”. This a collection of demo songs recorded when working the “A Matter of Time” album while deciding which tracks would go on the album. While these tracks were recorded without the benefit of a full studio, they are solid performances.
10/11/24: Worldwide (single) Track release: “Only You (demo)”, the final single from the upcoming album Asylum '88, 23 demos.
08/16/24: Worldwide (Album) Release of Asylum's LP Silent Scream, remastered in 2012 (Digital only). The LP and all individual tracks are available on iTunes and all digital music platforms. *Note: All tracks on this EP are also included on Asylum Studio Works.
06/14/24: Worldwide (single) Track release of ‘Changes (demo)’, the 2nd single off of the album Asylum ‘88, ’23 demos.
04/12/24: Worldwide (single) Track release: ‘She’s from Outer Space (demo)". This is the first release off of an album of Asylum demos, which was released in December 2024. The album is called: Asylum ‘88, ’23 demos

About Asylum
Asylum played the greater San Francisco Bay Area club circuit from 1985 to 1990. After disbanding in 1990, the group got back together in the late 90's and recorded their 3rd EP Album, Silent Scream. While many of the Asylum band members have gone on to play in other bands, Asylum is still together and continues to play from time to time.
